Roach Receives PBATS Scholarship

	Kelly Ann Roach is a recipient of a PBATS Scholarship for 2009

Kelly Ann Roach has been awarded a Professional Baseball Athletic Trainers' Society (PBATS) Scholarship for 2009. 

Kelly completed an internship with the Cedar Rapids Kernels Baseball Team, of the Midwest League (Class A).  She was nominated for the award by Dan Nichols, athletic trainer for the Kernels.  The award consists of a $1,500 scholarship.

Kelly is in her second year in the athletic training education program at Iowa State University.  She is currently serving as a student athletic trainer with football and is from Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
